Only one practice in and already Ricky Williams is hearing it from the mouth from the south himself, former Redskin & Argos Quarterback Joe Theismann.  I mean, saying that Ricky is a disgrace to the game is going a little overboard.  It’s not like Ricky has threatened or assaulted anyone or committed any serious crimes.  So what if the Argos might cash in on this signing by increasing season ticket sales, Ricky will help the league as a whole when the Argos hit the road, besides, talk has emerged once again about expansion across the boarder in neighboring states.  Come on
Joey, let the poor boy live!

    • One man makes a personal choice to partake in what god has provided, nearly destroying his professional career and financial standing to do so, and is then berated by Theismann. At this current time, as far as role models go this is how it appears. Ricky was and is willing to sacrifice for causes he beleives in, no matter the cost. Joe publicly goes out of his way to comment on situations that do not involve him in negative and hateful tones. Good color commentary, maybe he’ll get a raise from ESPN.
