Let’s play 7

Daniel Briere found yet another way to be the hero as the Gatineau Quebec native wristed the winning goal past Cam Ward just 4:22 into overtime to send the series to Game 7. This only prolongs the anticipation further for the Edmonton Oilers who are as Jack Johnson would say, “sitting, wishing, waiting” for the Finals to begin.

In recent years, the Canes are 0-2 at home in games played in June, while the Sabres have a June road record of 1-2. Home ice advantage won’t be too much of a factor for this game.
