In the end Dallas was just too good.

The Mavericks overcame a big 1st half deficit to win 77-77 and take the Western Conference Championship in 6 games. Dallas was led by Josh Howard who had 20 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. Dastardly Dirk added 24 points, while Boris Diaw had 30 for the Suns.
The Mavs move on to the NBA Championship against the Miami Heat in what should be a barn burner of a series. My 1st thought is that Dallas wins this in seven, but we’ll have a lot more on that series in the upcoming days.
