I hate the Edmonton Oilers.I hate everything about them. I hate Chris Pronger and his smug look. I hate their jackass coach who is probably lying about Roloson’s injury so he can make a ‘miracle’ comeback back in Edmonton. I hate the fact that everyone calls Ryan Smyth a great leader and overlooks the fact that he never met his offensive potential. I hate Michael Peca for being the most overated player around. I hate Sergei Samsonov’s playoff beard. I hate those sissy dancer players they have like Pisani and Hemsky. I hate Raffi Torres red hair. I hate the fact they copied the Red Mile from Calgary but added tipping over cars and violence into the mix. I hate that they are making me cheer for a hockey team that has about 10 fans who understand hockey. I hate that everyone around here is cheering for them because they are the new “Canada’s team.”

But you know it’s not all bad.

I’m glad they lost last night after blowing a 3-0 lead. I’m glad they are down to their super sieve back ups. I’m glad that they looked like a bunch of idiots on the goal that cost them the game. And I’m damn glad they aren’t going to win the Stanley Cup.
