Great Athletic Mustaches: Lanny McDonald
Few players have sported the mustache as proudly as Lanny McDonald. With his firery red lock and his flowing facial hair, Lanny is a legend among mustache lovers.The mustache itself is best described as bushy. At times it was almost out of control and said to most ‘look at my freaking red mustache, don’t mess with me.’ Lanny McDonald, we salute you.
If anyone is curious as to how Lanny’s mustache has made out in retirement, fear not. Lanny’s stache is still rocking and rolling today.
Honourable Mention: Now I’m not going to do this every week, but sometimes you come across a mustache that just needs to be shared. I present to you, a man who just missed the cut in our list of great mustaches, the last player to wear 00 in the NFL, Ken Burroughs. Nice sideburns as well, good work Mr. Burroughs.
