It was good to see the dominating performance saturday night by Bernard Hopkins versus Antonio Tarver. It would have been disasterous to see Hopkins end his career with 3 defeats to the same guy. I am glad to see Bernard end his career in this fashion.
You gotta respect the guy and his mental preparation. The discipline to not touch a drink or slam a fudge sundae. The not caring about being in the get a long gang. Dealing with life in the penitentiary for 6 years and training while there, and then eventually turn pro and kicking ass. The guy is an absolute freak!
The results were pretty clear with all three judges on saturday, as they all scored the bout 118-109 for the winner by unanimous decision, Bernard Hopkins.
Oh and, Antonio Tarver had $250,000.00 on the table that he’d knock The Executioner out in 5. In your eye Tarver!
