The Wade is over

For the first time in franchise history, the Miami Heat are NBA Champions. With their fourth win in a row, the Heat squeaked out a 95-92 win over the Mavericks in Dallas.
No surprise to anyone that Dwyane Wade was selected as the MVP, averaging 39 points in the series, Wade scored 36 in the clincher and after the game, teammate Shaquille O’Neal proclaimed that, “Wade is the best player ever.” Shaq later added that Head Coach Pat Riley was the best coach he’s ever played for. Oh that’s gotta hurt eh Phil Jackson.
While it was good to see Dwyane Wade win in it all in only his third year, and Shaq claim his fourth title to stick it to Kobe, I wasn’t so thrilled for Gary Payton, Jason Williams, and especially that loser Alonzo Mourning. The three of those egomaniacs were not deserving of winning anything as they rode the coat tales of Shaq and D-Wade throughout the whole season.
The Mavericks, up 2-0 early in the series, should have gone for the kill but instead, flamed out in an awful way. Unfortunately for Dirk Nowitzki, this will hurt his reputation as a big game player.
